Join us for this adventure.
A journalist and a podcast walk into a bar, stop us if you’ve heard this one before. They realized that with their powers combined they could create a lean and easily accessible news production company that could focus on the matters that were important to their home town. As they grew, they realized that together they could do more than just spread information, they could actually help their community. With their writing, design and production skills, they could help people in their home town and surrounding area as well as the local businesses. They set out to built and fun and professional space that welcomes everyone in and makes it hard to leave. With almost two decades of combined experience, Tyler Francke and Tyler Clawson are ready to offer you their helping hand.

Tyler Francke
Content Creator / Project Manager
Tyler Francke is co-owner and founder of Now Hear This Media and its associated properties, including The Canby Current, Now Hear This: Canby (formerly the Canby Now Podcast) and CanbyFirst.com. Francke produces or edits the bulk of the news, history and other content that appears in the Current and on CanbyFirst.com and NHT: Canby.
Francke is an award-winning writer, photographer and documentary filmmaker whose previous experience includes the Woodburn Independent, The Newberg Graphic, Branson Tri-Lakes News and many freelance projects. He is a proud Rotarian, a longtime member of Canby Alliance Church and has served on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Canby Public Library since 2019.

Tyler Clawson
Producer / Designer
Tyler Clawson has been producing podcasts for nearly a decade, starting out in a basement arguing about comic books and nerd culture. He now Produces the number news show in his home town, as well as A D&D podcast, a literary podcast and a podcast aim toward Electricians. He has spent just as long designing T-shirts and books covers, and loves to nerd out about all the thing.
